Empowering Digital Education through Video Learning: VOLT Website Launch

On October 18th, VOLT Project Partners met online for the VOLT Website Launch “Empowering Digital Collaboration and Innovation in Education through Video Learning”.

In a significant step forward for the world of education and inclusion, the VOLT Project Partners gathered online to mark the official launch of the VOLT Website. The event, titled “Empowering Digital Collaboration and Innovation in Education through Video Learning,” brought together key stakeholders, professionals from the education and vocational training sectors, and students underscoring the growing importance of digital skills and video-based learning in education.

Irene Bellomo, member of the European Year of Skills Taskforce at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion (DG EMPL), and Alicia Gómez Campos, the Secretary General of EPR (European Platform for Rehabilitation), inaugurated the event emphasizing the imperative need for upskilling vocational education and training (VET) digital skills and the transformative impact it can have on educational landscapes.

The event also featured the voices of inspirational students from the Rehab Group, Michael, Chloé, and Julian, along with Elias and Giorgio from Theotokos Foundation. These students shared their unique experiences and insights from their participation in co-produced videos. Their testimonies not only shed light on the transformative power of video-based learning but also underscored the substantial benefits it can bring to both educators and learners alike.

The VOLT Project invited participants and the broader public to explore the VOLT Website and Platform. The website serves as a dynamic resource center, providing educators, students, and other stakeholders with a platform that gathers video materials co-produced by the students and toolkits for both learners and trainers.
