Advancing Inclusive and Evidence-Based Therapies for Autism in Europe

Final conference of the AUTHERAPIES project, an Erasmus + initiative dedicated to improving access to inclusive and evidence-based therapies for autistic individuals across Europe.

Organised in partnership with the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), this high-level event brought together policymakers, researchers, practitioners, autistic people and their families, and civil society organisations to explore how Europe can take the lead in delivering better, more informed and inclusive therapeutic support for austism.

What was discussed:

  • Presentation of Project Findings
    Key insights from three years of research, consultation, and collaboration across Europe;

  • Policy and Practice Perspectives
    Decision-makers and autism advocates presented what is being done on a European level in regards to having a common approach to autism across Member States. Within the context of the project, partners also presented policy recommendations to ensure the availability and accessibility of information on evidence-based interventions for autism;

  • Interactive Panel Discussions
    Expert dialogues on the future of therapy standards and their accessibility in Europe;
