GOLD Project Webinar: Ageing with a Disability: Challenges, Practices & Policy Perspectives

What does it mean to age with a disability in today’s Europe? What challenges do individuals, families, professionals and systems face, and how can we better support inclusive and rights-based approaches across the life course?

This webinar, organised in the framework of the Erasmus + project GOLD, brought together practitioners, policymakers, civil society organisations and other stakeholders to explore the intersection between ageing and disability from practical and policy perspectives.

During the event, project partners presented on:

• What is ageing with a disability and the key challenges involved;

• Inspiring practices and practical tools that support smooth transitions and inclusive support systems;

• The GOLD Learning Pathway and upcoming capacity-building opportunities;

• Emerging EU-level, rights-based policy recommendations and gathered stakeholder feedback to strengthen them.

The session combined expert input, real-life practices from across Europe, interactive exchanges and policy discussion.
